FROM HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION DIVISION

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and Greetings,

 

Selamat Datang and Welcome to the website of Administration Division, Office of the Vice Chancellor.

 

The Administration Division of the Vice-Chancellor Office was established on 30th June 2006 and is responsible for the administration of the Vice-Chancellor Office as well as coordinating matters involving entities under the Vice-Chancellor Office. Its establishment is in line with the efforts and aspirations of the Vice-Chancellor to enhance the effectiveness and dynamic coordination of the PTJ within the university. Entities under the Vice Chancellor Office are the Administrative Division (BPPNC), the Quality Assurance Center (CQA), the Corporate Strategy and Communication Office (CoSComm), the Office of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Internal Audit Division, Waqf Management Center, Zakat and Endowment (WAZAN), and Integrity Unit.

 

The Administrative Division staff is committed to provide the best quality services to its customers and ensuring that the administrative and corporate governance codes are followed. In brief, in order to attain the goals of the university, the Administration Division plays important roles as the Secretary and Secretariat of the University Management Committee (JPU) and the University Senior Officers Meeting. Both meetings are a key element in decision-making and two ways engagement between JPU and principal officers of the university. It also provides a medium of discussion and problem solving on matters affecting faculties / institutes / centers / school and colleges.

 

In addition, the Division also ensures the process of appointment of Principal Officers is conducted in a transparent, just and efficient manner through the Search Committee. This is in line with university efforts to improve effective governance at various levels within faculties / institutes / centers / school or colleges. The Search Committee assists the Vice Chancellor on the appointment of Head of PTJs in accordance with the provisions of the University Constitution. The Administrative Division also implements the Quality Management System MS ISO 9001:2015 in its effort to provide the best services to the university community and society.
